Our RIB tours are open to guests aged 8 and up, and anyone under 18 needs to be with an adult. The ride is fast and bumpy, so it isn't suitable for infants.

Yes, it's very safe. Every guest wears a life jacket and flotation suit, and our trained skippers adjust the ride to the conditions. You do not need to be a swimmer to join.

You might catch a little spray on a lively day, but the flotation suit keeps you dry underneath. Just avoid anything that can't handle a splash and you'll be fine.

A RIB rides very differently to a big boat, and most people who worry about seasickness are absolutely fine. If you're prone to it, take your usual remedy before departure and let your skipper know.

We sail in most conditions, and rain doesn't stop the fjords being beautiful. If we ever need to cancel for safety, you'll be offered a new departure or a full refund.

We meet on the waterfront in Bergen city centre, a five-minute walk from Bryggen. There are public car parks nearby, though we'd suggest walking or public transport as the centre is compact. Exact directions come with your booking confirmation.

Not very. You're seated for the whole trip, holding on as we ride. You do need to be able to board the boat and cope with a bumpy, energetic ride, so it isn't suitable for pregnant guests or anyone with back or heart conditions.

Often, yes. Seals, seabirds and the occasional eagle are all part of these fjords. Wildlife is wild, so we can never promise sightings, but our skippers know the best spots to look.
