Why a RIB
Twelve seats, never more. Everybody gets a rail, a view and the skipper's attention - and we can stop when something is worth stopping for.
Bergen-owned and Bergen-crewed. Our skippers know which arm of the fjord is calm when the wind turns, and where the seals actually are.
Flotation suits, goggles and life vests are handed out at the quay and included in the price. Come as you are - we'll get you kitted.
The safaris
The long one. Out of Byfjorden and up the Osterfjord to the Mostraumen narrows, where the fjord squeezes to a few boat-widths and the current turns. Waterfalls close enough to hold a hand out of the boat.

The short, fast one. Straight out of the city, under the bridges and into open water for the part everyone remembers: full throttle, spray, and Bergen shrinking behind you.
From 990 NOK per adult
A quieter run south, into Nordåsvannet - the sheltered water Edvard Grieg wrote beside at Troldhaugen, in the city that later gave the world Kygo. Boathouses, villas and calm water, with the engine down and the story on.

Your group, your boat, and a table set on the water. We take you out to a quiet arm of the fjord and serve Norwegian seafood with a glass of something cold. Built around your date and your party.

The fleet
Rigid-hulled inflatables with suspended seats, so the boat takes the chop and you don't. Enough power to reach the good water quickly, and a quiet cruise once you're there.

Before you go
In Bergen city centre by the harbour. You get the exact quay and a map in your booking confirmation - walking distance from Bryggen and the Fish Market.
Whatever you're already in. The flotation suit goes on top and keeps out wind and spray; bring a hat and a pair of sunglasses if the day is bright.
We sail year round and pick the sheltered route when the wind is up. If the skipper cancels for weather, you get the full amount back or another date.
Cancellation terms are shown at checkout before you pay. Children are welcome from 8 years on the standard safaris.
